This past June, we participated in Yankton County’s 4H Farm Safety Day Camp on June 11th and Bon Homme County’s 4H Farm Safety Day Camp on June 29th.

At both day camps, Jennifer Gross, the Education and Outreach Coordinator at our transmission provider East River Electric, put on an electrical safety demonstration using a Powertown display.

Powertown is an interactive display that uses real electricity to teach children how to be safe around electricity and electrical equipment. At these 4H Day Camps, Jennifer focused on teaching kids how to be safe on the farm.
